Veronica King has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and is a certified addiction specialist who has dedicated over 28 years to assisting people in overcoming the dual diagnosis of substance use disorder and mental illness. Veronica works with policymakers to bolster local and regional prevention and treatment programs. Veronica has played a significant role in leading crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, education, and homelessness prevention programs throughout the Bay Area. Veronica is a valuable asset when it comes to educating the community on Opioid Use Disorder. Veronica worked for BAART Program for over 20 year from a counselor to Director in MAT for OUD.

Veronica uses her own battles and personal experience with addition to help individuals work towards healing, wellness and recovery.
