Sergio A. Huerta, II, MD

Dr. Huerta is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He is the Medical Director of Recovery Services of New Mexico (RSONM), New Mexico's largest OUD treatment facility. As an Associate Professor and Division Director of Inpatient Addiction Medicine, he cares for hospitalized OUD patients, leads quality improvement projects, and conducts Addiction Medicine research with NIDA-funded trials. He also serves on various Addiction Medicine committees, advocating for improved treatment access.
