Stacey Pearce, BS, CAS
Stacey Pearce began working in opioid treatment programs in 1995 as a receptionist at GPA Treatment, Inc. in Doraville, Georgia. She later became Program Director and was involved in the pilot project for national accreditation for medication assisted treatment (MAT) clinics in the United States. Mrs. Pearce developed all new policies, procedures, protocols, and documents utilized in the treatment of patients. In March of 2002, Stacey opened an opioid treatment program in Macon, Georgia and was the Sponsor and Program Director of the program until October 2017. Following the sale of the clinic, Stacey became an independent consultant with a focus on operations and compliance for opioid treatment programs throughout the United States. During this time, Stacey represented the state of Georgia on the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD) Board for over fifteen years, and remains a CARF surveyor. Recently, Mrs. Pearce began working as a National Accounts Representative with VistaPharm and is enjoying serving patients, staff, and leaders within the field in a new way.
