Regional Director
Acadia Healthcare
Bethel Park, Pennsylvania
For over two decades, Joshua has been providing care to thousands of people directly affected by addiction. He launched his career in the addiction field in 2001, when he began working at a group home for kids who had been removed from their parents' care due to addiction issues in the home. He also spent time overseeing an adolescent residential facility, until he achieved his Masters of Organizational Leadership in 2006 and began working with a national organization offering Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). He has since been working with Acadia Healthcare since 2016 as Regional Director, overseeing six OTP facilities in Western PA, and facilitated the development of three new OTP sites in Ohio. He has done extensive work with state and federal agencies on the utilization of MAT, consulted with several key Senators and Representatives, driven regulation reform with PA Dept. of Health, and facilitated opiate addiction treatment discussions with many organizations, including MCO’s, hospitals, inpatient facilities and prisons. He is the current President of PATOD and had been a CARF Surveyor for several years. Joshua has been happily married to his "college sweet heart" since 2002, has five children, is a pastor and ordained minister, and loves to play golf...sort of.
