Julie Achtyl, LMHC, CASAC, NCC, ACS, is the Co-director of Operations, Director of Counselor Education at Strong Recovery, and the division chief of CASAC’s at the University of Rochester (UR). In 2017, Julie became a NYS certified trainer in Clinical Supervision Foundations II and has trained hundreds of supervisors across New York State. Julie is pursuing a Ph.D. in counseling and counselor education at the UR. Julie blends her passion for counseling, clinical supervision, leadership, and teaching through training professionals and mentoring clinical staff and students.
