Presentation Summary: Over the past two decades, recovery homes have become an integral part of the behavioral health service continuum, offering holistic environments for individuals to heal from substance use disorders. However, challenges, particularly surrounding the integration of medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), persist. Drawing from foundational research, the significance of these homes in promoting sustained recovery is evident, yet the journey is riddled with hurdles like licensing and stigma. This workshop delves into the multifaceted role of recovery homes, emphasizing the importance of MOUD, and equips participants with strategies to optimize these environments amidst evolving challenges.
