Presentation Summary: Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), through support of SAMHSA, began operating a mobile MAT unit in underserved communities on Chicago’s West Side in January, 2022. Working closely with the DEA, the State of Illinois’ SOTA, and local community groups and stakeholders, FGC faced challenges in managing the regulatory, financial, clinical, and community relations issues critical to the success of a mobile MAT program. This presentation will share key lessons learned from the implementation of this innovative mobile MAT program and report data on the outcomes of the (700+) individuals served on the unit to date.
